Settling In

Gus has been relaxing at home for the first few days here in England - he's settled in quite nicely. Here's what he's been up to...

On Thursday he met my pet fish Sylar! Sylar loves having his picture taken so it wasn't a problem getting this photo! He and Gus talked for ages about the advantages and disadvantages of being a fish or a turkey :b

On Friday Gus helped me with some crocheting. I decided to make him a hat and scarf for when he goes back home to Oz. He chose the colours, and even had a go at crocheting himself! He did a good job!

That evening I introduced Gus to my fav programme of all time - Red Dwarf! It's a comedy set in deep space from about 15 years ago (old skool!!). Gus was rolling up, he said it was so funny! I think we're gonna be watching alot more Red Dwarf in the coming months!

I'm going to try and convince my parents to go on a road trip this weekend, as it's Bank Holiday. Weather permitting, that is. I think Gus will like our road trips, we go to some interesting places!

  1. Red Dwarf is one of the best British shows!! I haven't watched it in years but seeing this picture has made me want to go and buy the DVDs!!

Gus looks so adorable in his new hat and scarf. Those are the colours of the Sydney Swans - our AFL team. When he gets home we'll have to become football fans! :D

It's been warm here the past couple of days, so Gus has put the scarf and hat away for now ;)
