Gus Is Home!

I'm happy to report that Gus made his way back to Oz safely afew weeks ago! Yay! He was very tired after his journey apparently!

Thank you again for being my Little Visitor, Gus. It was a pleasure!

Arrival

Gus has arrived!

I woke up this morning to a knock at the door. My Mum got there before I did and was handed a parcel. I knew it was Gus! I ran to the kitchen and opened it!

Inside I found a passport, contract, chocolate and a very squashed Gus! He was very happy to get out of the box!


After a little while of getting used to his surroundings I asked if he wanted a drink. He said he did, but he might need something a bit strong after his long journey. I had just the thing...


... he was very happy with a can of Fosters! He says he reckons he'll fit in well here! I think so too :)


Plus I've heard today that Gladys has arrived in Australia! Yay! Let the adventures begin!

It's All Go!!

This summer I'll be taking part in the Little Visitor Swap Round 12 on Craftster.org. In the swap you exchange a small toy with your partner and show it around and take it on adventures throughout the summer. For this round I've been paired with Beckashell from Australia!

The toy I'm sending is Gladys, the Monstie...


... she's mega excited about the months ahead, but told me she isn't looking forward to the long journey half way around the world!

In Gladys' place will be Gus the turkey!


I'm really looking forward to him arriving! And who knows - maybe Gus and Gladys will pass in the sky!

So this is basically a blog for Gus. I'll keep it updated regularly with pictures and accounts of his adventures here in England.
